Access statement for Upper Neatham Mill Farm Hotel:-
Introduction:-
An enjoyable experience in a tranquil setting within the Alton Hampshire countryside, Upper Neatham Mill Farm is a 17th century barn converted into a hotel, situated by the River Wey near Alton by the border of Surrey and Hampshire, surrounded by gardens and woodland this is where to stay is you like seeing a variety of wildlife.
Pre-Arrival :-
- We are approximately 1 mile from Alton town centre and Alton railway station.
- We are happy to organise a taxis on your behalf or you can book one from Alton railway station.
Arrival & free car parking facilities
- Please follow the directions on the 'Bed and Breakfast Directions' page to arrive at the accommodation.
- There is a designated marked out space in private flood lit car park for every hotel room next to a blue 'visitors car park' sign, as well as over spill space for friends and family visitors.
- There is a dedicated parking space for disabled guests and visitors.
- The car park is surfaced with gravel, but for the disabled parking space there is a 1.2M hard standing brick and floor slab arrangement.
- You will then be issued with one room key which also opens the front and rear entrance doors.
- The entrance via the front door has 2 steps up, while the entrance via the rear door has a path of gradient less than 1 in 20, flood lit with movement sensors.
Main entrance & reception:-
- Dimensions 2M x 3M.
- Tiled flooring.
- Disabled guests can use the alternative rear entrance.
- Door is side hung with automatic closure.
- Hanging on reception wall are clearly displayed insurance policy and standard bed and breakfast pricing.
- Pets are not allowed.
- The reception steps down two steps to the ground floor accommodation, and steps up two steps for breakfast room and a further nine steps for the 1st floor.
- Disabled bedroom access is flat and is provided via the outside path.
- Disabled access to the breakfast room is provided via a path of gradient less than 1 in 20 to the rear entrance door.
- Lighting is a mixture of low energy and LED bulbs.
- It is Non Smoking throughout the Hotel.
- Seating is situated within reception if required.
- Additional keys for the rooms are available on request.

- Lighting is a mixture of low energy bulbs both wall mounted up lighters and chandelier down lighters.

- There are no WC facilities in or off the Breakfast room.
- Access corridors are greater that 0.8M wide.
- There are 2 steps down to reception, access outside is flat via hallway.
